2012 Individual Tax Rates and Brackets

Effective January 1, 2012, the provincial tax rates and income thresholds for Ontario are as follows:

5.05% on the first $39,020 of taxable income

9.15% on the next $39,023

11.16% on the amount over $78,043

Ontario also imposes a surtax of 20% of provincial tax over $4,213, plus 36% of provincial tax over $5,392.
